The Redemption Of God’s Son
When blood flowed from the broken body of Jesus,
Hanging on an old wooden cross.
He became the sacrificial lamb,
The price paid for a world; lost.
Lightning flashed; thunder roared,
The ground split in two.
Jesus died; the Father cried,
And the angels in Heaven, cried too.
The temple curtain of the Holy of Holies,
From top to bottom, tore in two pieces.
We were now free to go to the Father,
Through the High Priest, God’s Son, Jesus.
In a borrowed grave made of rock,
The body of Christ they did lay.
A stone rolled at the entrance,
Fearing the disciples would take Him away.
ON THE THIRD DAY, JESUS AROSE!
THE BATTLE OVER DEATH WAS WON!
GOD’S PLAN FROM THE VERY BEGINNING,
WAS THE REDEMPTION OF GOD’S ONLY SON!

In Him we have redemption through His
blood, the forgiveness of sins.
