EXTREME DEVOTION

There are those in other countries,

Who sing in silence, underground.

Only GOD, JESUS, and the angels,

Can hear their sweet, sweet sound.

There are those in faraway lands,

That sit in cold, damp, rat invested cells.

For preaching the GOSPEL OF CHRIST.

To people lost and headed for hell.

And still, there are those in other places,

Who bear the brunt of extreme pain.

For them, TO LIVE IS CHRIST,

AND TO DIE IS HEAVENLY GAIN.

O Lord, may I have that kind of extreme devotion,

Each and every day I serve thee.

May I boldly proclaim your name,

No matter what man would do to me.
