My Salvation Prayer

Dear Lord, Thank You,

For saving my wretched soul.

Your blood washed my sins away,

Leaving my heart white as the snow.

The Holy Spirit came into my heart,

Helping me day after day to grow.

And when I strayed, the Spirit,

Showed me in the way that I should go.

All through my life,

There have been ups and downs.

But no matter what, true joy,

Down deep in my soul, can be found.

Thank you Lord, for wiping away,

All the tears through the years, I cried.

Thank You for loving me through it all,

And never, ever leaving my side.
